Jan 06, 2015 · I can ping 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4. Cannot ping google.com, or nslookup google.com. When tracert google.com: Unable to resolve target system name I can ping the PDC IP address and host name when i nslookup the PDC its says server: Unknown. Only this PC is having this issue. There was a power outage recently. 8.8.4.4 8.8.8.8 (I personally put the alternate server first, as I feel like that one is going to have less traffic hitting it, and therefore will be more responsive. But it could just be superstition.) And second, I trust Google’s reliability a lot more than I do most ISPs.
